<p>Last Saturday night, I met my friends Matt and Adam up at Ronnie&#8217;s for this new Resident Evil movie added to the series!  It was super sweet, plus in 3D!  I enjoyed watching this huge axe fly right by my neck line from my front row seat.  The scariest part was when a surprising group of crows flew out of a mysteriously swinging-open door on an airplane.  The yummiest part was the infinite amount of Reese&#8217;s Pieces and Skittles that were falling into our bellies.  This was also the most expensive movie ticket I&#8217;ve purchased: $13 bucks!  Totally worth the sight and sound of the theatre for this zombie-blastin&#8217; adventure!</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: center;"><a rel="attachment wp-att-1257" href="http://robbiehaupt.com/2010/08/31/man-of-la-mancha-insight-theatre-co/377lamancha/"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-1257" title="377LaMancha" src="http://robbiehaupt.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/377LaMancha.jpg" alt="377LaMancha" width="349" height="329" /></a>I just checkout out a play near Webster campus that three of my Cabaret pallies were in.  Paul Balfe played this cool barber character as well as a commanding captain; Nate McClure played one of the prisoners, and Doug Erwin played the innkeeper.  The story was so confusing to me!  I knew this Don character was thrown in this &#8220;prison&#8221;, but I couldn&#8217;t understand the storytelling through their lines and actions.  There were supposed dream instances, thus this popular song &#8220;The Impossible Dream&#8221;, that the lead, Don, went through.  I didn&#8217;t know the synopsis of this play going into it, so it was hard for me to tell what was going on.  I think they could&#8217;ve done better lighting cues, or if wasn&#8217;t that, line delivery.  The theatre was great looking, and was jam-packed o&#8217; peeps to see this Saturday night show.  Too bad the show sorta stunk!  The singers were good, and I really enjoyed the body language of the prisoners.  This cute horsey dance will always stick in my head, as I am a fan of kicking my feet out like a horses when I am showing off my running legs <img src="http://robbiehaupt.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" class="wp-smiley" />  This theatre just got a new grant, too, so they will probably have more sweet shows in the future.  As I walked out, I got to say hi to my playmates and also ran into Matt Brimer of the Brimer family whom I played Affton floor hockey with when I was younger.  I think my dad was his godfather?  Anywho, that night was sweet!  Afterwards, I saw Moonlight Ramble for the first time.  I volunteered last minute and was stationed at the starting gates for the 10,000+ bikers!  It was freakin&#8217; fun!  I hope to ride it or volunteer again next year!<a rel="attachment wp-att-1264" href="http://robbiehaupt.com/2010/08/31/man-of-la-mancha-insight-theatre-co/39100_118490568198234_100001118736586_103784_4246940_n/"><img class="size-full wp-image-1264 aligncenter" title="39100_118490568198234_100001118736586_103784_4246940_n" src="http://robbiehaupt.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/39100_118490568198234_100001118736586_103784_4246940_n.jpg" alt="39100_118490568198234_100001118736586_103784_4246940_n" width="576" height="384" /></a></p>

<p>Ryan Cooper (Abie), Maggie Murphy (Rose Mary), and Tom Kopp (Rabbi) all had big roles and did a great job!  Steve Callahan directed the play, and made a fun story unfold about families conflicting over different religion backgrounds.  A Jew marrying an Irish girl is okay in my book! <img src="http://robbiehaupt.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" class="wp-smiley" /></p>
<p>The set was well-furnished with thrust-style seating, which provided a fun opportunity to see actors up close and personal.  Great costumes and props of the time period!</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a rel="attachment wp-att-746" href="http://robbiehaupt.com/2010/05/27/rocky-horror-picture-show-one-thumb-up/mpw-12409/"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-746" title="MPW-12409" src="http://robbiehaupt.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/MPW-12409-210x300.jpg" alt="MPW-12409" width="210" height="300" /></a>This cute worker at Hooters and I were talking about musicals.  She talked about how the Tivoli does Halloween showings of &#8220;Rocky Horror Picture Show&#8221;, how it was her favorite, and that we would make a great Brad and Janet.  I finally watched this movie all the way through, and it would be fun to act as a Brad!  I want to sing &#8220;Damnit Janet&#8221; to that girl if I see her again.  We connected on Facebook! <img src="http://robbiehaupt.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" class="wp-smiley" />  The movie was cool!  I loved the unique story, but I couldn&#8217;t really understand what was going on at the end.  The songs weren&#8217;t sung clear, and I guess real Translyvanians  existed in the world from outer space?  Fun songs, costumes, shot-taking, and actors!</p>

<p>The character development and their conversations were so excellent!  And there were many life lessons told, such as, &#8220;Don&#8217;t sit back and wait&#8230;take action and do something about it yourself!&#8221;  More reinforcement for that subject in my life, I&#8217;d say  <img src="http://robbiehaupt.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" class="wp-smiley" /></p>
<p>I recommend spending the 50-60 hours to completing this game, and observing its beauty!</p>
<p>I gave it a perfect five out of five stars, because this game was a new concept of game play compared to the other FF&#8217;s.</p>
<p>-Sweet, new fighting &amp; leveling system</p>
<p>-More of a one-way exploration for the story progression</p>
<p>-Quicker battles, and more juicy &amp; longer cut scenes</p>
<p>I want to play the next Final Fantasy!  I heard it will be an MMO, which will involve a monthly fee to play.  Something cool like Warcraft hopefully! <img src="http://robbiehaupt.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" class="wp-smiley" /></p>
