47989_146661552034161_130184933681823_277379_3965496_nLast Sunday, I completed my third tri!  I had my most beautiful swim (I believe!) and bike ride!  And the run…my worst!

Into the race, I thought there was one running lap.  As I crossed the finish line in extreme happiness and adrenaline, I ran around a bit to then been yelled at by my bro and dad, “Two laps!”  I couldn’t believe it!  Before I knew it, I continued back on course.  My muscles were on acid.  I had to walk almost half the rest of the time.  Such an unbearable journey!  I was so glad to finish, and still get a nice overall result!

I totally want to do another tri, and especially redeem my runner’s spirit!

I got 29th overall, and 2nd in my age division :)

Here some some more pics they took, and the posted results!:

Robbie… how did the Windsor Knight treat you in training and in competition? I’m looking for a new road bike to use for tri-sport (which I recently got into as well), and the specs make it look like a bang-up deal.

Btw – congrats on the nice finish! I can’t imagine “finishing” a race… only to find out there’s more course left!

Thanks, Mike!! Yeah, oh my goodness! Basically, it is the worst bodily feeling when you have to muster out three more miles when you just cranked out the juice for the first three.

The Windsor was great for training, and I used another bike for the race which was more road savvy. I recommend getting a Windsor! Good price for good parts.
